[K-Album] Kim Sunggyu - Another Me

Yes yes yes!!!!!! My beloved album reached me safely. And yes to add to the dust collection again.... (*¯︶¯*) but just to brag, im am more than impressed with wooliment. They never failed to deliver, when it comes to Infinite.. the album comes wrapped in a black vinyl (like a plaatic bag) enbrossed wording 'kim sunggyu another me'...

Not sure if i will be playing from the cd straight in my car. Maybe i will for one time because there is hidden track..(ps only infinite doing that or other artistes also have hidden track in their album?)

if you still don't know, INFINITE's very own leader and lead vocal, SUNGGYU has released his solo album...and here is his title song for the album..



i know im biased. and yes i AM SUPER biased especially when it comes to Infinite ...and as always, sunggyu being sunggyu and his honey-voice. the whole album is very him, in the matter of fact, slightly heavier to the rock side but maintained the signature of infinite, the eighties' feel but somehow not so infinite. of course, the song is by sweet-tune...who composed mostly infinite's signature's song (including be mine, paradise, the chaser)

  as for the mv, i wished they get yeolie for it instead of L. yeol has more emotion in his eye-acting than L (i get it, L is more handsome and L is the visual) but it is not doing justice to the 60sec when L barely can carries the emotion. i can only hope for gyu to act in the mv but it will never happen because he nowhere in the actor-list of infinite.

the MV has this clock ticking from 2.04 to 2.05...and im still left wondering why that particular timeframe??
i love the cinematography of the video..the water dripping from the umbrella..but then a lot people still trying to figure the meanign of the MV. the girl is L's ex or she is the future gf that he will date but soon-to-be-ex because he can foresee the future? thus 60 second to fall in love and to fall out of love.. honestly, i prefer the second version. more make sense in terms of the clock turning back time.

Woolim is heck of company that listens to their fans...people asked for sunggyu and here they goes with band version, full of sunggyu rocking out..aint complaining here, although i did commented to get him fix his hand movement..do something with it rather leave it hanging there....

btw this was just released a couple of hours ago when im typing this...

i got nothing to complain....too good for real. i mean sunggyu has been my no.1 in infinite, reigning for quite sometimes already..far longer than anyone else. (infinite is one band that makes you changes your bias everyday) the song very rockish yet less rocking out to avoid fans running away but enough to shocked people with this new elements. rock ballad is not something you can get from your typical boyband.

John Park - Falling

this is one the first song that i like from John Park, to be honest. I only came across the album and this song because of another song. and im glad i gave this album a try and im so in love. first time listen and im falling.

the thing about him that got me into his song is his voice..it started with him almost whispering, then his clear voice, then falsetto, then clear voice and repeats. i keep saying how good he is and someone said this is very normal. maybe, maybe not. because nobody can bring this elements together and flow it together so smoothly. and he, John Park definitely found the way to do it....



and this has to be my fave performance because he sang it slightly different from the record, noting that he is singing LIVE and it is awesome...perfecto!!

and i hope he can come up with more stuff like this and i will definitely get his album...physically.

My Girlfriend is a Gumiho

somehow i enjoyed this drama though not as much as i <3 SungKyunKwan Scandal...but i love this OST. there are a few nice songs in the OST and one of it is this..

Fox Rain sang by Lee Sun Hee


the song carried so much emotion and pain in it. enough to portrait the pain the heroine in the drama constantly facing because she is trying to save the person she loves while trying to hide her real identity..

i particularly chose this fan-made mv because i love the illustrations + snippets of the drama were inserted in the mv along with a clear sub..

Xia Junsu - I dont like love

i dont know how to describe the feeling when i first hear the song. even without the english subtitles. the emotion of the song and Junsu's capabilities of presenting the song, it just tear your heart up. and when you know the fact that he too, have to take a break from recording, because he cant help but cried while recording.

and it annoyed me so much, in a good way, that his voice has became so low compared to his DBSK's time. i guess because of the musicals and different vocal trainer. but still awesome as always.

and as usual, for OST, it is just plain love.

and i love the connetion of jay park and jyj because i feel they are in the same boat, only jyj is more severe case.

this song is a duet/collaboration between L (hyunsoo) and yerim of two months(yerim) for the drama "shut up, flowerboy"...

been loving the drama and also the OSTs....this is L's first solo and i guess he is the first to be featured in the OSTs. although people said his voice is too low compared to yerim's but i love the comparison. it makes his voice stand-out and not being over-shadowed.

this song has been the bgm for my personal blog ever since it came out. it has this spring love feeling. happy and excited kind. and it is very not me to put such song in my personal blog because i kinda prefer emo song. but then i really like the song and it has been doing well to represent what i felt now... (but i still chose a sad emo song for this blog's bgm :P)

it all started with @jaybumaom recommended this video on youtube and then this andrew batarina became @jaybumaom's choreographer.. but instantly i was hooked with the song, music and lyric.. it makes you downright sexy.. a good one. though i was crazy about the sleek dance though..



what i didnt expect is my @jaybumaom started to make sex(y) songs like this...



this song has been on my playlist for god's know how long.. the combination of english + korean music is always been jay park's forte.. only he can brings out music in this way and i gotta say i love it to the max...

and then boom! he promised that there is a sex(ier) song than this one in his new album #new breed. trust me when i dLed the whole album i wasn't in love with it, yet. thats til i got my hand on new breed, things when crazy.. track #8, track #9 and track #10 constantly on my non-stop replay list..
